
Adjustable Center Shift Stud, SV650
(and possibly others that use 8×125mm threaded “fixed” stud)
It’s a special adjustable offset “centering” stud, adjustable by almost 1mm.
More mature (lol!) experienced mechanics will recall when almost all transmissions were equipped with a part like this. That allowed the engine builder to set the shift shaft to exactly in the center for the best possible shift performance. That part, along with shimming and clearancing gear spacing, is what “blueprinting” a transmission is all about.
Install the stud with enough threads exposed for the locknut.
Turn stud till shift shaft “fingers” are centered on detent STAR pins.
Tighten down the locknut.
Recheck indexing.
CHECK!!! For things that may interfere with the taller stud!!
This fits all the SV650’s, (and probably the 1000’s) at least up to 06 and you may find other applications that it could be used in.

CBR600F3 95-98 RACE JET KIT
It is called a Factory PRO “RaceKit” because there are some modifications done to the carb body that should be done by an experienced mechanic / tuner – It is not a “drop-in / no drilling required” kit like the Config 10 and the “1.1-Ti” ProKits are. Mods consist of removing the original main air jets, tapping the carb body to accept replaceable main air jets and that’s about it for the tricky bits. So, if you are confident in your ability to tap an expensive set of carb bodies, this IS the highest performing, cleanest running carb recal kit available – from anywhere.
This kit WILL allow the engine to produce the it’s best top-end power – without sacrificing low and midrange power. Generally, the engine will produce 1-2 more True HP and 2-4 djhp.
Adding a +4 degree Advance will pick up the part throttle response, too – making the engine more lively when rolling on the throttle exiting corners and snappier (wheelie prone) when driving in town (you hooligan!)….. For ultimate adjustability, get the Adjustable!
To shift quicker and virtually eliminate missed shifts, get the SHFT-PRO-HON-21 kit. How cool is the Trans Kit? “Kick it out of one gear and it’ll go into the next gear!”
Even in 2001, a slightly modified 93-98 600 can still be competitive in racing – with the right mods. A BMC Race filter, a bit more compression, a bit of port work……

CRB600F4 99- RACE JET KIT
It is called a “RaceKit” because there is some modifications done to the carb body that should be done by an experienced mechanic / tuner – It is not a “drop-in / no drilling required” kit, like the Config 10 and the Ti ProKits are.
Topend peak power gains are in the area of 2-3 hp and power is improved 5-6 at high rpm, past the power peak. In other words, the kit, decreases the effect of the 13.5k+ indicated rpm power drop off that is built into the stock carburetor components.

VTR1000F RACE JET KIT
This kit requires a bit more work to install than the 1.0 or 1.1-ti ProKit. The advantage is that the kit will produce a bit more power at all rpms than any standard, drop-in style kit. Tuning is actually easier after the installation at base settings.
There is no loss of lowend power.
Although not tested, there’s no good reason why the 1.7-RK Kit wouldn’t be useable with a completely stock exhaust system with stock mufflers.
This is simply the best kit.
Also – as with ALL VTR1000’s – the TPS must be checked and set to 500 +/- 10 ohms – or low speed cruise smoothness is impossible to attain.
They have been seen as much as 900 ohms as delivered.
